Tcris Cream contains Amorolfine, which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical Anti-fungals. It is used in the management of fungal infections of the skin such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, and tinea manuum. It is also used for managing cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor.
How Tcris Cream works:
Tcris Cream works against the fungi by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Therefore, leading to alternation in fungal cell membrane permeability and disruption of key fungal metabolic processes, causing cell death.
